These huge, insane sculptures were by Casey Love, and lemme tell you photos cannot do them justice. The paint job on these was some of the most tangible stuff I saw at the show, like, I was asking him if some of those skin spots were cast in the plastic because they totally had that transluscent sirt of glow that skin does in the light. He was also super eager to pass on his techniques and gave my friend Tina all sorts of pointers on his eyeball technique. Apparently he does classes, which I imagine would totally be worth looking into if you’re interested into doing this sort of thing.
